Aims & Objectives
To instruct an operator to prepare and safely operate a MEWP.
At our Wymondham, Norfolk centre we have a 3a and 3b machine (category information shown below) however other categories are available - if you want any categories other than 3a 3b please contact the office for details before booking.

At the end of the course the Operator will:
- 
		Be aware of the relevant Health and Safety regulations. 
- 
		Be aware of accident prevention and control. 
- 
		Be aware of the needs regarding personnel protection. 
- 
		Be aware of the need to refer to the machine Operating Manual. 
- 
		Drive and manoeuvre the MEWP safely to correctly position and carry out the required tasks in a correct and proper manner.

- Structural parts
- Regulations – ISO 18878, European, HASAWA, PUWER, LOLER, MHSW, WAHR, RIDDOR
- Familiarisation and pre-use inspections
- Safe operating methods and hazards
- Emergency Procedures
