Aims & Objectives

The aims of the course are to give delegates an understanding of the safety and legal requirements of using Nail Guns as required by Regulation 9 (Training) of the Provision and User of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998.

Upon completion of the session, the delegates will be able to identify the safe operating conditions of the equipment being used. They will be aware of the correct setup methods for the machines and the check to be carried out before use. They will be aware of the hazards associated with the machines and their use, how these could cause harm and the safe systems of work required to protect users and others nearby.
